You Decided!

The elections for the Student Presidents have now taken place. There were 971 votes cast across the College and the following candidates were duly elected:


  • Inverclyde - Siobhan Carroll (a Hairdressing student in the Centre for Hairdressing, Beauty and Science) who received 318 votes out of 480 cast


  • NAC - Sharon Rennie (a Plumbing student in the Centre for Construction and Engineering) who received 434 votes out of 491 cast.


Both Presidents are now looking forward to a productive and successful term of office.

It's Decision Time!

Voting for your new Student President will take place on Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd September. Counting the votes will start at 12 noon on Friday 24th September in the canteens at Finnart and Kilwinning. Your new president will be announced in the canteen as soon as the counts are completed.


Make sure you use your vote. Polling stations will be open at your home campus to cover the morning break (10am - 11am), lunchtime (12 noon - 1.30pm) and afternoon break (2.15pm - 3pm). Those of you who attend twilight or evening classes can vote between 5.30pm and 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Student Elections 2010

Welcome to you all for the new 2010/11 session.

Elections are taking place for two Student Presidents:
  • Inverclyde (covers Finnart and Waterfront)
  • North Ayrshire (covers North Ayrshire and Largs)
The Student President is a part-time paid position within the college, elected by your fellow students.

This is your opportunity to lead the Students' Association, be the voice of students and make a real difference to the college.
